Droga Callejera - Pasta base de cocaína o PBC)
conocida en: Argentina y países limítrofes como: Pasta Base, Pasta, Lata, Churri, Tumba, entre otros
Desplazó a la cocaína y al porro, por su bajo costo
Elaborada a partir de: bicarbonato de sodio, cafeína, alcaloide de cocaína y anfetaminas
Uso: inhalación (pipa) – su intenso consumo produce la muerte cerebral en 6 meses- efecto breve, 1 a 5 min, y obliga al consumo reiterado por parte del usuario, quien puede fumar 12 o más por día.
Alta Toxicidad y Adicción – lesiona sistema nervioso, por su apariencia física se denominan muertos vivos. Sustancia Psicoactiva, compuesta por la extracción de hojas de coca, con solventes, sin llegar a clorhidrato de cocaína, por falta de precursores químicos, para transformar este grupo de alcaloides en sal de cocaína. Se consumen en Argentina 400.000 dosis / día. SEDRONAR informa: creció 200% su consumo en los últimos años. La organización Madres en Lucha: 150 mujeres con hijos afectados, mueren 2 jóvenes/ semana en zona sur y conurbano bonaerense por Paco.
Basuco: Marihuana + pasta base: considerada desecho químico, se fuma – adictivo, igual riesgo que cocaína además, afecta encías, pulmones y alteraciones cardio y cerebro vasculares; fácil adquisición; sustancia intermedia entre pasta base y porro.
A) Las 4 etapas al momento de consumir Paco:
1- EUFORIA 1 a 5 min. (atontado, no habla, disminución de las inhibiciones)- 2- DISFORIA (comienzo de sentimiento de angustia, depresión e inseguridad)- 3- ADICCION (consumo sin interrupciones, buscando mitigar la sensación de disforia) – 4 - PSICOSIS Y ALUCINACIONES (pérdida de contacto con la realidad, agitación, paranoias, agresividad y alucinaciones que pueden durar semanas).
B) Consecuencias: delitos, prostitución, para obtener más drogas
Efectos secundarios Náuseas, vómitos, cefaleas- cansancio- taquicardia- pérdida de peso- anorexia – insomnio-ulcera de labios y boca- degradación de la piel-hipertensión- pupilas dilatadas- Expectoración de sangre o mucosa- mutación fetal (durante la gestación)- comportamiento errático – violencia - convulsiones-MUERTE.

Basuco : marihuana + coca paste: considered chemical waste, taken by smoking – addictive, same risk as with cocaine plus it damages gums and lungs, brings cardiovascular and cerebrovascular alterations ; easy to buy ; intermediate substance in between coca paste and joints.
USER:
A) The four stages when taking PACO:
1- EUPHORIA: 1 to 5 minutes (feeling dazed, no speaking, inhibitions decrease) – 2 – DYSPHORIA (a feeling of anguish, depression and insecurity begins) – 3 – ADDICTION (using with no interruptions, trying to mitigate the dysphoria feeling) – 4 – PSYCHOSIS AND HALLUCINATIONS (loss of touch with reality, agitation, paranoia, aggressiveness and hallucinations that may last weeks).
B) Consequences: delinquency, prostitution, in order to obtain more drugs.
Side effects: nausea, vomiting, cephalea – tiredness – tachycardia – loss of weight – anorexia – insomnia – lips and mouth ulcers – skin degradation – high blood pressure – dilated pupils – expectorating blood or mucous – foetal mutations (during gestation) – erratic behaviour – violence – convulsions – DEATH.

How it is taken
Users smoke it alone or mixing it with tobacco or marihuana, or both.
Effects when taking PACO
It only takes 8 to 40 seconds to get to the central nervous system, there it brings an immediate euphoria feeling, which lasts 2 to 5 minutes.
This effect is divided in four stages:
1. Euphoria: inhibitions decrease, feeling of pleasure and security.
2. Disphoria: a feeling of anguish, depression and insecurity begins.
3. Desire of using: need to keep smoking to come out of the previous condition.
4. Psychosis and hallucinations: it comes with regular use. Also paranoia and aggressiveness.
